that's pretty funny! cause a buddy of mine has one as well and called the cops to find out about the legalaties of driving it on the road and he was told that it is 100% LEGAL to drive on the road. no insurance, no license, and no helmut. i have heard in the past that anything 49cc and under doesn't require a license. don't know if that's true or not. as for DOT numbers on the tires... do bicycle tires have DOT numbers? i've never looked. if they don't then i'd say you could get a ticket for driving that on the street as well. if the law enforcement wants to hand out tickets fairly that it is.
