Talk about customer satisfaction and taking the extra step
Back in June I purchased a full Turbo Back APR system from Derek @ ST.
Unusual for an APR system the Downpipe dind't fit properly, the only way i got it in the car was with some custom made spacers, but even with these is still rattled. When you pay $1500 for a system i expected everything to fit perfectly.
I e-mailed APR with detailed pics and description of the situation, but I never got a response. It wasn't a big concern for me as the spacers eliminated about 90% of ratteling.
But in December the cold amplifed the rattles esspecially at WOT. I stopped by ST and told Derek about it, because I knew e-mailing APR again would probably not do anything.
Derek said just to send him the e-mail i sent APR and he will see what he can do. At this point (almost 9 months later) I dind't think anything could be done.
To my surprize to day Derek told me my new Downpipe is on its way and he will let me know when it arrives.
Not many places will help you out to this extent almost 1 YEAR after you buy something.
Thanks Derek, now about those rims.....
