I think its like that because the engine is rear mounted and it has to come straight down.
not at all, the engine is mounted approx 2.5-3 feet in from the rear bumper... there is an actual trunk in the back. my exhaust could have easily been tucked up more but that was not the intention of the design. i luv the way it hangs down low, gives it a nice ballsy appearance
