The customer service I recieved at redi-rad is way to rare these days.
finally had some suspension bugs worked out yesterday-thanks to sanderson tire. Of course, with my luck, my radiator starts leaking.
I did the whole yellowpages thing and called around for some used ones as well as some new ones. To make a long story short, they went out of their way to explain to me the difference between aluminum vs metal vs dual/single core rads - something I've never looked into before. They had technical specs to back up everything they said and that's the kind of language I like to hear from someone who is selling me something for my custom application! I guess the receptionist could tell that I was using the rad for something custom because the manager CALLED ME BACK wondering why I wanted a dual-core metal rad vs a single core aluminum.
They had no problem getting me the exact replacement (dual core metal rad) for tommorrow. The receptionist even offered to MEET ME TOMORROW MORNING DURING A HOLIDAY to pick it up.
Anyone who has a custom turbo application hates shopping for parts because a lot of 'parts guys' are completely useless. I purposely avoid telling parts guys what the application is, I just give them a year, make model to avoid retardedness. A lot of them don't have technical knowledge to think outside of their everyday routine. I had to call 4 places just to get some damn spark plugs - and I know that all they had to do was pick up the damn catalogue instead of looking on their computers (I know this to be fact because I used to work at Canadian Tire).
Anyway, it's places like Redi-Rad that kick butt, all I did was ask if the rad was 'dual core' and they went the extra mile to find a rad that would work better for me.
They are a member of the BBB.
