Was with my ex for 3 years.. I was helping to pay for her school towards the end (Queen's tuition + rez).. then she gives me the "I'm not in the right place in my life for a boyfriend.. wanna be friends?" speach. I'm not a beliver in breaks.. but I tried it for her.. then find out she's been seeing her housemate for who knows how long.. looking back.. I think she cheated on me a whole lot more than that, but I wanted to be with her too much to notice.. should have prolly ended it after the first year.. but hindsight is 20:20.. what can ya do! If trust isn't there.. get out.. it's not worth it.
Talk about being bitter.. not only was I made a fool of.. but I'd poured ALOT of money into that relationship.. Ptbo to Windsor every other week while we were in highschool in a Legacy Turbo.. $50 each way.. then T.O to Kingston plus paying for almost everything we did... And I came very close to giving up my future in aviation to try and help her out...
Something better will come along tho.. I'm with the best woman I've ever met right now... Marrying her in May.. when the feeling is right.. you just gotta go for it!
