"A police officer upon reasonable groundscan search any motor vehicle for a radar detector without a warrant. If you put the dector on your person, the officer can consider arresting the driver for obstructing a police officer in the performance of his duties. As an incident to arrest the officer can then search your person, and locate the detector."
