Looks like they basically make their living because "they are close by" and most people out there don't know any better.

I was once like that, fell victim for their "replace parts until you find the one with the problem" trick. I basically bought a new O-ring for $800.00.

It was Alan that I chatted with afterwards, and he told me a story of someone just signing over their car to him because the bill was higher than the value of the car!

Either way, I'll buy my tools there, as well as other things (washer fluid etc) that are packaged and basically the same everywhere else, but the "mechanics" there will never touch my cars again.
