Ya need to check that shit... You hear a little peice of the puzzle in the news and think you know enough to make some dumb ass comment like that. What you and people like you so easily forget is that why you are at home looking out the window thinking "I'm not going to drive in this weather", the police officer doesn't have a choice.
And before you say 'well he didnt have to be doing radar if the roads were bad'; alot of the time when police are conducting speed enforcement its as per orders and not by their own choice.
And while I am on this rant, you should consider that when an officer gets into an accident its treated and investigated far more severely than a civilian accident. What I mean by that is that the officer does not get given any breaks, their is no 'discretion' used when considering a charge, its pretty much that if grounds exist for a charge the officer gets charged regardless. Also their are many other internal procedures and consequences the officer is subjected to as a result of the collision, regardless of how minor it was.

And last but certainly not least, those two officers involved in that particular collision are friends of mine who sustained some pretty significant injuries and as a result have not been back to work since the collision.

So its not so "LOL" after all.
