If you have too much of anything its bad, we can kill ourselves by drinking too much water.
Trans fats are terrible for you, cept the ones naturally occuring in animals ( such as those found in ground beef, even the extra lean stuff has some).
I usually consume a decent amoutn of saturated fat a day. Maybe 50-60gs?
There have been many studies as of late saying that saturated fats can significantly lower LDL cholesterol while raising HDL levels. Old studies did not distinguish between saturated fats and trans fats apparently.
Just remember, if its naturally occuring, its usually good for you.
