The witness won't help. Among many other issues with the witness, they weren't operating the radar and can't state how fast you were travelling at the distance the officer obtained your speed with the radar. In fact, the witness may actually help the crown, as she would be able to also put you at a specific location, date, time, which are essential facts that must be entered as evidence in any charge. In addition, if she were to take the stand and give testimony, the crown would simply have to get her to say she was travelling faster than the posted speed limit, and that she can not say exactly how fast you were travelling, but that you too were travelling faster than the speed limit. She would have given evidence against you, proving that you were in fact (speeding) on a certain rd at a specific date and time.
As for your claim about the rude attitude, however unfortunate that it is, the long and short of it is that its not going to disprove the speeding evidence.
