That right sucks!
Hope whatever decision you come to.. you'll be happy with it.
.. do like I did. .. I got my Z24 (to replace the first one). It didn't run well and I worked at fixing it since day one.. new gaskets etc etc.... still had a bitch of a vacuum leak. Ultimately I gave up when it stopped running for me. I was mad at the car.
.. I let it sit for over a year, then.. I felt the need to work on it again. Now it runs, and I'm soooo happy I didn't get rid of it.
Its not easy to find old cars with a pretty good body.
good luck! Hope you keep it, or get something newer.. but still sporty.
