I always go very dark on my cars, but there is no actual percentage that's legal, it's all the police perspective, as the charge is colour coating "obstructing" the interior. But I have always enjoyed on my cars as dark as they have for the rears and a 15 or 18 or something on the front. It's very dark, and nearly impossible to back up at night, but the looks are more important to me in my cars!
