did he learn his lesson ? I'd say so. We were all young, stoopid, careless, wreckless, ...etc. once. We learn through our mistakes.
Have i sped un-necessarily before ? Yup.. I recall many times bouncing off the speed limiter in my cars on the 4XX series highways.
Unfortunately for the OP, he's got some challenges ahead. $2000 to $10,000 fine, plus getting dropped by insurance, paying probably 6000-10,000 a year for insurance...
