My brakes are seriously squeeky. In the mornings when it's cold and I first drive away it's really noisy, but I find as I drive more the noise goes away and you can't really hear it, but it's still there slightly. The brakes work fine, I mean I've had to stop suddenly a few times and they're great.. just bloody noisy!!

I went to a mechanic to have a look and he said m front pads have about 80% left. Someone said to me that it is my rear brakes squeeking, but the mechanic said it's the front.. he said the back brakes (drum) will never squeek.

It sounds like a bus coming to a stop, that kinda squeek. It's so embarrassing coming up to a round about lol


Anyway if I have to replace my front pads and discs, can you guys make some recommendations as to what brands to consider? They want too much money here so I need to buy them off eBay or something. He said 3 hours x $88 per hour if I bring in my own stuff is the only price I'll pay. Oh and I can't afford Brembo's so don't even suggest top brands, just something good enough to last.. I'm not racing this thing lol
