I don't doubt the car will be fast...and yes a FWD chassis can be setup to hook...but no while retaining it's streetability. Getting enough wheel under the front of it to handle 550whp will leave you with the turning radius of a bus.

A high 11 sec 1/4 mile time can easily be obtained with 350whp in a 5th gen on slicks. Any more HP than that and faster times are difficult. Traction becomes a huge obstacle as well as drivetrain strength.

No matter what you do with a FWD "street car"...RWD will always have a big advantage.

Not to mention...the Datsun's only 2700lbs...it's not as heavy as people think....and with a 255/50R16 MT ET Street under it and a factory independent rear suspension....well....sub 2.0 60ft's are VERY easy....
sub 2.0 60's may be very easy but 130mph traps in a 2700lb car with 350whp aren't so easy

and in another honda that was built by the same man that's building this one on a car not setup for drag at all just a lowered civic with a slick went 12.0 with under 400whp so with another 100whp at least 11's would be easily attainable

also you need to know that many guys with 550whp b series setups don't give two shits about streetability
