Does the MTO suck, yes. Does it change the fact that everybody who operates a motor vehicle should have a valid plate sticker, no. But seriously, why do you deserve any more compassion than me or anyone else just because you're in debt? Laid off or not we all know the risk you run when you drive with expired plates. You continued taking chances, and continued getting caught. No sympaty here, you knew exactly what would happen when you got caught.
