Hey,

I've got a friend who's looking for a reputable head shop in the local area, preferably one with experience with VW's. He just finished a buildup on his Jetta only to have a his exhaust valves bend and break on him on first crank-over. Needless to say he's bit upset with the shop in the town he lives that "told" him what they did to his head. He's got new valves on the way, but what he's looking for is to have 8 valve guides installed as well as 1 exhaust port seat installed (no grinding required). I'm pretty stupid when it comes to VW's so this is all the info I have on the engine:

97 Jetta
2.0 DOHC
Crossflow head

Any help is appreciated.
