i don't know about this profiling thing, I don't consider myself a member of VM, nor do i wish to be one. I just enjoy the forum and the people. Anyways, Most people know what i drive and i'm not hard to miss, while at ottawa westmount timmies the other nite, Myself and Hector had a nice chat with an officer admiring my car, i thought he was going to give me shit for being just over 1" off the ground, but all he did was comment on how low the car was, and asked what i do about curbs and speedbumps. Thats it. The muffler issue is just like Will said, it's to keep the public happy, there is nothing that pisses me off more then getting woken up by soimone flying by my house eartly in the morning, thats not profiling...shit my dad got pulled over in my jetta for the exhuast.
Plain and simple, don't act like a tool on the roads and draw attension to yourself on the forum and you won't have many problems with the police.
