ok found out the other day my turbo and manifold are both funked beyond repair so if anyone has a mr2 turbo or all trac/ gt4 manifold and turbo that would help me out a ton cuz replacement performance manifold and downpipe are like 600 on ebay with out a turbo so i want it to work before i make it better

What's wrong with the manifold and downpipe? They're generally ultra robust peices.

And are you dealing with the 165 generation stuff (single entry CT26) or 185 (twin entry turbo)?

ok saw that ct26 its not showing any sign of cracking so looks good but said may need rebuilding. what is that and how much does that cost, and where can i get that done in london and surrounding area

I have two here, both 90+ twin entries, one with a 50 trim compressor, one stock steel unit.

Cherry Turbo's (I've heard they're closed) was one of the best bets in rebuilds in your area. After a balance, bearings and seals 500$ is probably the vicinity your looking at.

Paul... when did you hear that Cherry closed down ? I was planning on sending my Turbo to Herman this winter to be rebuilt and modified and was actually looking forward too it since hes able to do such good work.

But yea... $500-$600 easily for complete rebuild (if the wheels are fine and can be re-used that helps save some cash)
