Rally cars are part of x-games now???

Pretty cool how Pastrana went from MTX to Rally. Was that due to his big injury, or did he just feel like changing it up?

Rhys Millen also in it. GTO drift car driver, nice.

Pastrana got into it because of Ken Block(CEO of DC shoes). Travis rides for DC and when Ken built a few rally cars he let Travis drive one of them. Apparantly Travis is a really good driver, as is Ken. Travis is still focused on FMX. The whole field looks awesome and it's going to be interesting to see how it goes.

This should be interesting.. i know the rallying community has mixed opinions on it.. personally i think it's awesome! What better way to bring the sport to the forefront for at least a part of the population!

Most of the really exciting drivers to see will be there! Colin is astounding in person.. and Pat is much the same. As for Rhys Millen, he cut his teeth in rallying, and only went drifting as a joke in his Evo.. then realized there was money in it and stayed there!

Tanner Foust already has a D1 win under his belt this season. Drifting seems to come naturally to the rally guys.

Rhys Millen grew up racing at Pikes Peak, and his dad was always heavily involved in that kind of racing too.. Driving the drift GTO was a more drastic change than going back to rallying.

The better part of the population knows him as the dude that drives the GTO drift car, that's why I made that link for everyone. Some people actually know his past, but most don't.

I actually remember reading a magazine when the GTO drift car first came out and they did a spotlight on it and Rhys, that's where I first found out about him and his past.

Also, I've watched Pastrana race the Subie a few times and must say I was pretty impressed. He's a really good all around motorsports guy. HHe was really at the top of MTX when he went down with that injury.
