Tinting Tails - #1 Car Club In Kitchener - Waterloo - Cambridge

I'm planning on tinting my tails in a couple of weeks, and was trying to get some feedback on 2 different styles that I've come across. I'm going to be using the VHT Nightshades stuff, so if anyone that has used it has any tips for the best results, please do share

Stock Look:

Completely Smoked:

All smoked but blinkers:

I voted for all smoked, but i would do the bottom half smoked and leave the top half red.

my tail lights are completley smoked out, but i think its illigal cuz i got no reverse lights, well atleast you cant see them, umm ill get a picture later

YEs that would be ILLEGAL. I would get that fixed ASAP.

my tails passed the safety test, and i didnt do anything to them, thats how i got my car

I have mine smoked but no to dark. I think they look O.K. As for the rice thing, oh well, I eat a lot of rice. Basiclaly if you DIY its rice in most peoples opinion, unfortunately its not worth spending $200 to buy new tailights that look the exact same as the smoked ones. Or you could always get clear or chrome altezza's because they're SO original and JDM guyyyyyyyyy.

I've seen yours shred and want something similar, how many coats of that crap did you put on?

I think I put three. As you put it on you can decide if its dark enough. Its easy to do and difficult to screw up so I say go for it. It suits the black so good.

Thats not true at all. In fact, DIY is one of the best parts of owning a car.

However, blacking out your taillights with Nigthshades is gay.

Luckly I'm gay so I'm not worried about nightshades. I tinted mine by smoking a lot of cig's near them. If you want to tint them, do it. I wouldnt worry about other peoples opinions. I've seen lots of tinted tails that look good and lots that dont. Its up to you.

are really happy.
