thanks for the pic Big T, here's what i finally went with.
the ipod is hidden in the glove box, with a quick release since i'm too paranoid to leave it in the car. i'm using an RF wireless remote which allows me to hide all wires easily and cheaply. the remote is attached by velcro so i can leave it on the console or hold it in my hand. i'm pretty happy having 2000 songs.. hee haw. ![]() ![]() |

I just have a RCA to headphone jack cable going to the deck through my dash out near my cupholders. Not the most elegant of setups but it works. My girlfriend connects her ipod when shes with me and we have hours upon hours of music.
I miss her ipod when shes gone, and her of course. ![]() |

I am using an alpine deck and alpine`s ipod interface and have the wire running from the deck tucked in along the bottom of the center console.
the ipod sits under my arm rest and i control everything off the deck. sorry no pics but you get the idea ![]() ------------------ zzzzzzzzzzz........... |
