Valve Cover Paint Job
Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows someone who can do a well done and fast paint job on a valve cover. I was originally going to powder coat it.....till I found out the QR has a plastic valve cover. I need a high heat cherry red, with a good gloss coat over top, similar to an SR20DET. Heres a pic for those who've never seen one:
![]() Seeing as how my car is my DD, I'm wondering if I'm able to take my car to someone locally, leave it there for a few hours while its getting done, and slap it back on afterwards. |

best bet is metalcast from Canadian Tire..its easy, you buy the base coat which is like a silver and then you put the read on, the more coats you put the darker it will be.
