Been a bad week but seems to be comin around

Well about 2 weeks ago I was thinking of seeling my truck just to move on to something new but.....
right after i put it up for sale it started this ticking noise
so I went and got it checked out ar Greg vann and they told me it was the timing chain guides (which were apparently plastic on this engine)
quoted me $900 plus tax to change it all including the chain and gears
then on my way home form there the exhaust started getting louder and louder, shit now i need an exhaust
so that night i take it to work and on the way I notice its pullin hard to the right
I get to work and see the front pass tire is smoking great now the brakes are gone, holy shit whats next

so after a couple really shitty days I finally go and talk to Derek at sandersons and he is gettin me the parts for less than half of what greg vann wanted for the parts and a friend and me are just gonna do it all myself, brakes, timing chain, gears
now all I need is some exhaust
any recomendations??
I want something thats fairly quiet and I need cat back but also need the exhaust in front of the axle since I dont have room for it above the axle
flowmaster? magnaflow??

sorry for the book

yeah that kinda blows what happened, but if you like the truck, and it is all fixed up, it is all good then.

It's good that it is all working out for you man. I LOVE the sound of Flowmasters so I would go with that.

yah not many people beleive that it has 70000 km on the stock enine
but it does
it was owned by an old man before
the part that broke is a nissan defect the timing chain guides are made of plastic so they break really easy
oh well

Well good to hear that you are getting a better price at least, its hard to believe a truck of that year has such low mileage....oh well hope things come around for you

Go with Flowmaster and dont sell the truck there are 3 of us in the club we need u lol
If u can find a kit that fits ur truck it shouldnt be that hard to mod it to make the exhaust go infront of the axle
I will talk to my uncle he owns Schilling performance and see if he can get anything cause thats where i got mine and i will PM u with pricing

If its a nissan defect hit up a dealership for the part for free. Most of them time they won't put up a fight :tounge:
