Been a bad week but seems to be comin around
Well about 2 weeks ago I was thinking of seeling my truck just to move on to something new but.....
right after i put it up for sale it started this ticking noise so I went and got it checked out ar Greg vann and they told me it was the timing chain guides (which were apparently plastic on this engine) quoted me $900 plus tax to change it all including the chain and gears then on my way home form there the exhaust started getting louder and louder, shit now i need an exhaust so that night i take it to work and on the way I notice its pullin hard to the right I get to work and see the front pass tire is smoking great now the brakes are gone, holy shit whats next so after a couple really shitty days I finally go and talk to Derek at sandersons and he is gettin me the parts for less than half of what greg vann wanted for the parts and a friend and me are just gonna do it all myself, brakes, timing chain, gears now all I need is some exhaust any recomendations?? I want something thats fairly quiet and I need cat back but also need the exhaust in front of the axle since I dont have room for it above the axle flowmaster? magnaflow?? sorry for the book |

Well good to hear that you are getting a better price at least, its hard to believe a truck of that year has such low mileage....oh well hope things come around for you

Go with Flowmaster and dont sell the truck there are 3 of us in the club we need u lol
If u can find a kit that fits ur truck it shouldnt be that hard to mod it to make the exhaust go infront of the axle I will talk to my uncle he owns Schilling performance and see if he can get anything cause thats where i got mine and i will PM u with pricing |
