Ran off the road

I was ran off of HWY 8 the other day by a dumb ass on a cell. Put me right into the gravel at 120km. Scariest ride I have been on in a while car nearly went sideways twice and the bridge was coming up. The horn blaring and he didn't even flinch, just kept coming over. Traffic behind me no where else to go. When I got back on the road I caught up to him and he was still on the phone totally oblvious to what happened, even after I honked and gave him a singal didgit salute he still looked like he had no clue.

So quick Poll and be honest.

Ya car got a couple new chip and pits from the rocks and a small hole in the exhaust. As for me besides being so freakin pissed that I didn't notice the coffee that was once full was now empty rolling around on the floor, I am good.

So, did you follow him and find out what was so important on the phone that was worth risking your life over?

So quick Poll and be honest.
You should have got his licence plate, and called the OPP.......tell them what happened.......people like that shouldn't be on the road, that and those damn soccar mom's. As long as your ok, and nothing is damaged on the car. YOu now know what to do in that situation........just drive nice and smooth on the gravel, no quick movements

thats right, copy his plate number down while driving ....umm seems worse than talking on a cell phone to me. might as well call the police while driving behind him too.

I do know what to do in those situations. I have had the privlage of attending Mosport offensive driving courses as well as Shannonvile. Part of an agreement with my dad when I was younger. This way I was allowed to take his 71 Datsun 240z out.

Not again...

My opinion is, if you're driving a manual car and able to talk on the cell phone then its usually fine - as the only time that's really easy is when youre on a highway or something. But in the city, FAWK off and call them when you get wherever you're going.

And no offence, but its usually the women talking on cell phones that have no regard for other drivers when they're in their own little world...
