Get a G35. Throw some Nissan burgers on it. Bam, youve got a Skyline.

Seriously, get a used G35 instead.

Pretty car, and an all around good starting point, I don't mind the new facelift lights, but its hard to like the car considering its $50k+ and a reasonably modified 15 year old 240 will pull on it on the highway.

not really in the same realm as the 350 based on the age of hte car.
i'm looking for something newer than what i'm driving now, if i wanted just fast i'd keep my car and drop a race built motor and run low 11's or high 10's with slicks in a 4dr

but that's not what i want anymore.

You can't go wrong with a 350z if you don't mind paying high insurance and having a winter beater!

rough, your coming from a turbo GTP. the 350z is SWEET in many ways, but I'd budget a turbo kit for it, as your gonna be hungry for it in no time. or realistically, drive it for a year, then turbo it a friend of mine has a very nice black one, super condition, and he wants to get rid of it cuz all the buicks at the shop eat him alive. he was just disappointed in performance.

The 350Z and the G35 are just about the same car, are they not? the G35 is just more luxurious as far as the interior goes. Now, I know they are very different, but have you thought about the G35?

definately where i'd be looking.. G35 is a bit more subtle, and does the same job.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.. turbo

Well to be honest i'm not happy with the TGP as its not what i was built up to believe that it would be in the end... its good and all but just not what i want anymore.

I just want something that is turn-key and going to be lots of fun. 6spd, RWD, 287hp, incredible handling, gorgeous looks, reliable... doesn't get much better than that for the price.

I like the idea of a G35 (4 seats) but for the same price i'm looking at something that has a lot more KM's on it or i'll have to pay more for it and i've already set my budget on this purchase.

oh and the greddy TT kit for this is stupid money...

hmmmm.....

maybe i should get you intouch with this 350z owner, he loves my car and wants to be faster then his nissan now, so maybe you guys can do a straight trade?? maybe not, but he might take money minus your car, two birds with one stone type of thing? he's looking for a project.

I have owned a 300zTT. In my opinion, the 350z is a great replacement. The 300TT runs a 0-60 at 6.2 secs while the 350z runs 5.4 out of the box. In 1997, a new 300TT would run you just shy of $70k!

The 350/G35 is also a great platform to mod if you are considering going FI. There are many supercharger/Turbo kits to choose from. The only question is how much money do you want to spend?!

I have driven a few RX8's. Great handling cars! The RX8 redlines at 9000rpm!! - so what! All the fun is in the low end torque if your car is a daily driver!

The Honda S2k is a great car. Awesome performance and looks to go with it. Too bad you have to be 5'5" and less than 150lbs to fit into the cockpit.

You can't go wrong my friend - GET THE 350!!
I have to agree with Hollywood 150%! The 350Z is a great replacement for the 300TT! I personally have driven both the 350Z and the G35 Coupe and they are awesome cars!!! The 350Z had a Vortech kit with stock internals and the G35 Coupe just had intake, exhaust, headers and cams!!!! The 350Z was very fun to drive and the handling was amazing! The G35 was friggin sweet to drive and it was more pimp with back seats (smile).

RX-8 is very fun to drive, cheaper insurance cause they consider it a 4 door. Torque absolutely sucks and it feels quicker than it really is, but the interior styling is amazing!!!'

S2K is one of the funniest cars to drive with the top down. Torque is also pretty low, but once your in VTEC your go to go! But like Hollywood said if you not 5'5 and 150lbs, forget about being comfortable in this car.....!!

I personally own a G35 Sedan (6MT) which I absolutely love! That's my 2 cents!

Hey Kace.....trust me dude if I was about 6'0 to 6'2 I would have gotten an S2K, but because I'm sooo much taller than the average import enthusiats, I have to live with the G35 Sedan....(smile)....Being this tall is only good for a few things....reach tall cupboards, dunking a basketball, intimidation factor and that's about it....(smile)...but when it comes to owning some of the cooler cars....350Z....G35 Coupe....S2K....NSX..and......EVO8's....I'm too tall....Fri
