when you turn 16, you can get your G1. ON the day, or after.

There is no such thing as a driving permit in Ontario.

With his G1 he can only drive with someone who has a G with the 4 dots under their picture (4 years driving experience).

This should all be explained on the mto website.

Yeah ^^ damn parents lol. Just don't pull a stunt like my brother and drive anyways and end up smashin up the car yadda yadda.

Just find the number for your local MTO give them a call to see what time they have testing. Arrive within the time given, write the test AFTER READING THE DRIVERS HANDBOOK! Honestly, it just helps stimulate your mind for all of the possible silly answers. Takes maybe 15-20 mins to complete the test.

Then, take an older friend or sibling to the show? Long as they have the 4 years experience.

All that's on it is a page of road signs, then second page is questions as to real life situations and laws/regulations. Such as what vehicle has a blue light? Everyone knows that question!

Then theres the quick easy eye exam thats hardly acurate at all but its just very general. Take your picture pay your money and your on your way.

These are the only persons who can be in the front seat with you while you drive.

the "DMV" we call the MTO (ministry of transportation of ontario) over here.

and no "permits" just G1, then 8-12 months later G2 then a year after your full G

Don't forget that with a G1 you're not allowed to drive on any of the 400 series highways(ok, theres like 2 way up north that you are allowed on, but none in this area), so you couldn't drive into toronto anyway.

Can we have ONE thread that doesnt turn to shit ? or have members stop cluttering this forum with " you should have been banned " or " do you know anything "

mx6onpsi / AdamCL - Consider this a warning to the both of you, keep posts on topic or dont bother posting at all

It seems soccerboy365 got the answers he was looking for, therefore this thread is . . .

. . .LOCKED
