should I powder coat my valvecover?

i'm going to be doing my valve adjustment on the Datsun sometime soon and I was wondering if you guys think that getting the valve cover powdercoated would make a bid difference for my engine bay?
Here's what it looks like now

its sorta polished looking as it is and the finish thats on it matches the top of the rad as you can see. I'm not sure if its worth getting done, and if so what colour? Black would blend in with the engine bay as its already black, and obviously red would match the car.

Thoughts, comments?

I think it looks better than powder coating and has passed the turbocharger heat test under my hood.

You can probably coat it black, strip it, and coat it red for much less than the PCing would cost.

looks like some elbow grease and some polish is the winner so far.
i think you guys are right, its in good shape as it is and finishing up the polishing shouldn't be too much extra work.
Thanks
J

If you are going to polish the valve cover follow the steps posted on Honda Tech by 2point2 that he did on his wheels. It will come out with the same result for your valve cover.

Polish it. The intake manifold is already red, so just polish or chrome the VC.

i'd polish the air cleaner too actually since the red looks like it doesn't match the body of the car.
