.... or is this place kinda just not the same as it was.

This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya.

Are you suggesting I have at least half a brain

I still don't know if I want to go all PSA yet. Too bad though, because with all the traffic that left here for there it really is pretty damn dead here now.

The only thing is having half a brain makes some of those threads pretty hard to read sometimes. That and depending who's there I don't want to join and hear the never ending grief for driving a compact domestic like VM used to be at one point.

Maybe I just noticed the decline yesterday a bit more than usual. Hell, when there's only 10 new posts and I'm pretty much half of them, the place must be dying.

first off, its winter.. every forum is dead or full of bitching.

secondly, what is up with all the psa hate? I mean lets get this right, vm is what 5-6 hell 7 years old now? alot of you guys are veterans and know you're stuff etc. psa is less then a year old... and yes its full of the younger crowd, but isnt that how vm started?
hell last I heard some members on here use to attend huge "street racing" events etc, when vm was new.

point is, I'm getting sick of seeing this vm vs psa crap, its ridiculous.. where all car enthusiests on different levels and we should all support each other, stop the hating.

derek, we're not hating, we're just telling the truth. with a few exceptions, most people on psa just like cars but don't know much about them.

that's all most people on psa want and that's fine, if it works for them that's great. but some people want to be able to talk in depth about technical topics and right now psa isn't the best place to do that.

don't get me wrong, psa is a good place and i like it, but it's more like a group of friends that like cars, not so much a group of car guys.

that's my opinion anyway, i don't think it's a negative one, take it however you want. with time i'm sure psa will mature.

edit: i don't understand your point about street racing events, what difference does that make? what if it was found out that a group of psa members secretly likes choking hookers while eating babies, does it make them worse at contributing to a forum? no.

hmm, you do make a good point^

I guess I can see what you guys mean, I apoligize.. maybe as we grow older (the club) we will become more technical... I just bought a turbo car, so hopefully I learn alot in the next few years..

as for the street racing comment, I only said that out of aggrivation, because I felt as if everyone hates psa for not really fair reasons..

but like I said, I see you're point man.. you are right, its more of a friends thing.. who love to hold/attend shows I think thats how vm started as well.. I respect any car club/nut.. the only way to learn more things is by people who know more then you right?

that or tearing things apart and figuring out how things work, that's how i learned pretty much everything i know, a combination of that and reading (internet/haynes manual).

This one seems exceptionally less active than is the norm for the winter. even winter on VM.

Seriously, if you thought our posts were 'hating' I really don't know what to say. Every time someone says a hint of criticism of PSA around here you go off the handle. Chill out man. Go blow off some boost in your srt or something.

I don't mind at all helping people out, but what I hate is when you try and offer help and someone who couldn't tell their ass from a hole in the ground argues to death how right something ridiculously wrong is until you just don't care. I'm not claiming to know all, but I'm sure others who have a firm bearing on what the difference between their ass and a hole in the ground is also feel the same way at times.

I'm not big at all into shows and bling, even meets so much anymore. Just the technical discussion here is nonexistent anymore and it's nice to talk about performance.
