Got my Tahoe home here are the pics

For those of you that don't know i bought a wreaked 2002 Chev Tahoe LT fully loaded 58,000miles. I just got it home starts repair after the new year. The body itself is in WAY better shape than expected. the truck is from Virginia there is not a spec of rust anywhere the undercarrage looks like it rolled off the showroom floor.

Virginia, and never seen snow do not go together that well... seeing how I have been in Virginia twice in the winter months and both times there were large amounts of snow and even more salt to go with it. They salt down there like its free.

thats crazy my uncle just sold a 2007 avalance with rear damage, had only 4800 kms on it as well.. they made some crazy cash on it to! they picked it up in south carolina for dirt cheap and still made wicked profit on it.

I'm guessing you guys have all the good stuff at your shop?

I've always wanted to get into body work repairing cars like that!

Font end looks like ass It does look like a great candidate for a fix.

How do the sales of these things go with the branded titles? Picking up a few vehicles like that and flipping them this summer would do nice to supplement my income and pay for school.

This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. FACT: It's been scientifically proven that the more shit you write in here the less cool your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya.

look into a hd hood for it, slight difference that stands out once you know what looks different about the truck

there is a thread on one of the chevy sites where someone swapped a tahoe to the 03 & up front end from a pick up

Sales of them go fine. but you have to document the fix and get the chassis recertified at a shop that can change the brand from Salvage to Rebuilt. i would probably make around 4-6g if i were to sell this truck when finished

augiedog yeah the HD hood sits alittle taller but i already have a mint stock hood on the parts truck i am taking the front end off of theonly thing i have had to buy so far is i got 2 new fenders. Grill, rad support, headlights, turn lights, hood, rad, condensor, bumper are all mint on the parts truck. we do have a 07 front at the shop it would just bolt on but they are ALOT of coin so we will just wait till we buy another 07 truck to fix. we are all about doing things for as cheap as we can. this trucks only worthwile to fix since we had 3/4 of the parts to begin with.

hey thanks for answering all these questions.. but most importantly? how could you forget to comment on you being totally wrong with the weather conditions?!? lol do you even know anything..

both of the airbags are blown too. you will be replacing them? easier sale? sell this death trap to someone without airbags and kill them.. real nice.

any car hit from front right away is a write off in my experience.
