We will see how many people actually want to be part of a club still or want to have it just as forums. I will definately need the support of some members to make it work if people want the club to attend events. I cant do it on my own.

I guess so. I dont own the site, but I seem to be the only one working on it and keeping it up and going. Both the mods I appointed are having connection problems that I cant figure out. The owners are here occationally, but not enough to really do anything.

I'll gladly resume Mod duties as soon as the account problems are sorted out. I'll also help any real-life/car meet stuff- VM in 2005 was AWESOME, I always looked forward to Wednesday nights!

if meets/track days were started again, i would come out.
if it does happen, just make sure they don't conflict with PSA meets, that wouldn't be good for either of the clubs. i'd mainly like to see some track days happen, this summer is shaping up to have a lot of them, hopefully my car can deal with it, haha. ------------------ Brendan: Bunch of 240s Some Opels And a Honda |

I like the idea of helping out with real events, but can't commit to anything at the moment. Forum wise I'm normally still browse here quite regularily.
It would be nice if VM got turned more into a technically mature site than it once was. Now that most of the highschoolers have moved over to Public Service Announcement Club, it should be a little easier to do this. Make it more about proper modification and track days/events. Sounds like if we were going to do it, this would have to be a grass roots movement again. Key pepole showing up all the time. ------------------ This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya. |

I think we all had enough experience with the meets, we know what works and what doesn't. The younger crowd has their own scene now, and no offense to them, but they usually draw the most heat. |

The exclusive membership was a joke IMO. So much drama over it, not only that but it became a pissing contest just to see who who was an exclusive member and who was not. The other thing about the exclusive membership was the membership fee helped offset the web hosting. With our "new owners" we've pretty much got that covered now.
IMO everyone should be able to come out. Mod your car, don't mod your car, whatever. Just come out to events. Like racing more, come out to the racing events. Like chilling, go to the meets more. Even though I dont' normally make it out to them a small weekly meet would be nice. Let PSA have all the heat bags attend their meets, keep ours low key in that respect. ------------------ This is where you type a bunch of shit about how awesome your car is. Not if we are in a controlled parking lot. Like I said, we all should know what works, and what doesnt. Having meets at Timmies where everyone and anyone with four wheels can come in is not my idea. Take the Brick meets for example. There was very little heat happening there....because only the people that needed to know about it, did.

Im still waiting for people to come to me with ideas. If anyone is serious about helping we can meet up and discuss what should happen with VM and how we can improve it from the state that its in.
If there is anyone willing to step up and plan events, plan meets, or anything of that nature that would be great, because there is no chance of me doing it with the schedule that I have. CRX Forum ------------------ Honda CR-X If you need it I can get it. |

^^ I've got no useful ideas for growing the club, but if you need any help with fixing things on the site/server, etc, let me know!
