Fuse Box smoking?

A couple days ago i was started my truck and relised sometihng was burning and then relised smoke was coming out of the switch right by the fuse box that night the dash lights and the neons did not work dose anyone know what it might be

uh.. probably the neons. Cars have pretty good wiring harnesses - if there ever are defective ones there is a recall.. so there is a really good chance that something you added/modified screwed up.

Actually I know of a few mazda B2200 that have done that, when your fuse box melts have fun re-wiring

Did you find what melted ??
Maybe there was a short circuit in your neon wiring
