how pathetic is this... some dude with a 240 comes on the Toronto Integra site first to bash one of their members and then starts another thread about Raceworld... Dave has already replied in the thread but I thought Vinh should see this too...

http://torontointegras.ca/cgi-bin/ul...c;f=1;t=005413

BTW, Mercedeh knows the Applesauce guy with the 240... hehe :tounge:

goddam haters....

i dont see why people rag on eachothers clubs for the way cars are driven

but really i gotta say race world is all about having nice cars that fit the stereotype in a good way...whats wrong with that?...nothing...

peopel need to layoff of sicryde, raceworld, autocannon and all the other crew/companies that are tryign to make some money of a hobbie they love...

i have seen the boosted RSX..it's nice...

and i have to say a KA24 isnt going to touch it in ANY way on any track that dosnt require driving sideways

I don't see what the problem is.

All they are saying is that the civic is slow. And it is.

I don't think they are lying about anything. A bunch of them are saying the RSX is fast, 13.8 is fast.

It makes raceworld look even stupider when people say "Oh, my car has 18's and its not tuned"....

Like, then dont' drive it down the track if it has 18's and not tuned.

I don't drive my car down the track with Kyles mom in the back seat just so I can say I have an extra 300lbs in my car.

Everytime I hear that a raceworld car isn't "tuned" and thats why its "slow" I just laugh to myself. Don't drive it if its not tuned, otherwise your car is slow.

I'm gonna start telling everyone that my car is slow because it's not tuned with a bigger turbo.

VWguy's got a point...ti is slow for a boosted rsx...but i dont think all he has in mind is speed....he's probably putting down pretty good "panty wetting times"

I'm just saying.

Don't driev your car down the track if your going to use excuses like.. "It has 18's".. like fuck, then take them the fuck off.

I have 19's, and I dont drive my car down the track, because I know it's going to be slower so what is the point? Whenever someone asks me what I run, I tell them straight up, I ran it without 19's, or full interior.

harry isnt saying his car is slow. Harry us one of my boys and I have heard him say that the RSX is fast. And 13.8 IS NOT SLOW FOR A BOLT ON TURBO!!!! Like what do you guys expect, some PETER PAN turbo that adds 150hp!!!!!

Thumbs up to vihns car!

I must come to daves defense here.

THE CIVIC is only slow because its running no TEC. And even though that is an excuse harry, there is nothing wrong with running your car for fun. Its not as if its hurting the car. Infact I would do that to see what would happen with TEC and BOOST.

Dave's car is amazing. For the market its aiming for it has all the right candy.

coles-
-raceworld deserves respect for having well balenced cars...
-haters can go eat a dick
-heavy rims are bunk at the track but are still worth having on the street

i would rather have the 1.8T than a boosted H anyday... built for turbo and bolted on turbo are two diffrent things..and vwguy be honest..with a boost controler turbo timer and basic bolt ons you could educate 90% of the boosted Civics/RSXTEGRAS out there and do it with out having to worry abtou gettin to work the next day by bus

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with runnign your car for fun.

BUT

Do not run your car, do a 15, then continue to blame it on

- not being tuned
- havnig 18's
- not having vtec?
- insert anything

If you run a 15, who cares. Just don't let me hear you say "Oh its not tuned", because who gives a fuck, don't run it till it's tuned then if thats the problem, dont come whinning about it. I never told you to run your car not tuned or with 18's.

It's slow cause you have 18's? Well take them off. Just don't expect to run <whatever> on the street unless at the stop light you can change your wheels as fast as you can change your clutch on the highway.

It's like saying an interpid runs 17's because it' not turbo'd. Well, yup, your right. It does.

but to me, running in full street trim is how to go... if you run 13's gutted on 15x10 slicks and then I spank you on the street cuz you put back in your sub box, 18"s, and interior then I'll laugh in your face... it's as simple as that... there are way too many factors of making a perfect run on the track and if took you way too much preparation to make your amazing run, then I'm not impressed...

no wonder the V8 guys laugh at us... they can roll up in full street trim: on street tires, full interior, and stereo blasting and still post 12sec 1/4 miles... so RW is trying to get the best of both worlds like the big guys do, I give 'em mad props for it...

BTW, Dave got his car tuned...

That's fine. Thats what I'm saying.

Race your car how it is, don't make excuses. If its not tuned, then don't keep telling everyone its not tuned. GO FUCKING TUNE IT.

If you have 18's on it, dont tell everyone "You have 18's" on it and thats why your slow.

Your race it how it is, don't make excuses. If you are gonna make excuses, then don't race it at all.

Obviously you don't (or by your writting, can't) read what people are saying in this thread.

No one cares if your car is tuned or not. Stop using excuses. Your gonna get people see'ing your car run 15 seconds, and say "Hey, that is a slow car", then you can come and say yah I had 18's, and ya it wasn't tuned, but the point is, it ran 15 seconds and you just make yourself look dumb the more you say "its not tuned".
