painting interior parts..

I've seen a lot of peeps remove n paint certain parts of their door handles, ashtrays etc. (a cheezy way of going instead of a full interior overhaul), anyways the thoughts have crossed my mind to do this over the last couple of years i have been involved in the car scene but never wanted to. Mainly for the simple fact i find it "whack" anyways out of curiousity if one were to do this whats the best paint, spray paint to use ? Has anyone done this on this board and or club in general if so how what did ya'll use?

Yuppers, the Fusion Krylon Plastic Paint works wonders... Just be sure that you leave the parts out for at least a couple of days to dry and set, put a good clear coat on it when you are done. I also waxed my pieces when I was done, with Turtle Wax to make sure the finish was shiney & a lil more durable

Just my 0.02 cents

This paint is very durable. I painted the dash of my old car about 2 or 3 years ago with no clear coat and it still looks like the day I painted it. That being said, clearing it is still a good idea.

Back in 99 I had my whole interior white. I would honestly say that it was the worst thing I have ever done to my car. The white reflected off the windshield and you couldnt see that well out of it especially when the sun was in front of you or just overhead. It was a real pain in the ass.

Worst of all when I decided to go back to black I couldnt find all the OEM parts at the same time so it took almost a year and a bit to get it back to black. Still I have a center vent and e brake cover in white. Lucky me I just found someone who has those parts in black and bought them off them online. Hopefully in a week or 2 I will be back to black.

If you are considering doing this I would suggest not doing it. Also some cleaners like Armourall like to eat away model and Krylon paints. I dont know why but it will soften them up after a few applications and then they will start to either bubble or peel. Especially in hot weather.

Shay.ca you should of taken an actual after picture instead of doing it in PS. It would be more convincing.
