Keyless entry not working, also drivers door does not lock either

I went to unlock my car after work the other day (96 integra rs) and my keyless entry is not working at all, i figured the battery was shot so i went and bought a brand new one...still no luck. Also at this point I tried locking the car from the inside, every other door locks except the driver door (its a 4 door). Even the the power locks were working I looked at the fuse (which was fine). Now because I took the fuse out and put it back in it was like I reset the locks b/c the drivers side door locked properly...twice...before it stuck again.

Now I guess the question that remains is: will the sticking drivers door lock affect the keyless entry at all? Also are there any resources for rebuilding/cleaning a sticky lock...even if the remote doesnt work I would like to be able to lock all of my doors without having to pull the fuse every time.

does it have factory power locks or were the added with the keyless?

and you can clean your locks, just take them out and soak them in brake cleaner, WD-40, or pretty much anything else that will clean it, then just lube them up when you're done and put them back in.

power locks are a dealer option on integras (or so i have read). in my glove box I have a manual for a Clifford arrow II alarm system but when I read the manual for it the settings clifford gives is opposite to what the car did before it stopped working. also my remote has for buttons, the clifford manual says 2 or 3 buttons. i know i need to relube the actuators now b/c they are sticking (if i lift the handle up i can lock and unlock the door using the power lock button in the car). I was pressing the buttons on the remote trying random sequences and my car chirped twice but now the keyless is not working again (the LED flashes but nothing happens to the car). Ill look the car over from head to toe to see if i can find an aftermarket alarm tomorrow, but i think it was removed.

the alarm will be under the dash somewhere, it sounds like you reprogrammed the remotes when you were pushing random buttons and that you need to lube up all the rods and mechanisms in the door.

to get it reprogrammed just take it to any car audio shop that deals with clifford and they should be able to do it for pretty cheap.
