So I got this as a Christmas gift from my bro... seat warmers professionally installed under the seats with switches. Love them!! So comfy. Very evenly distributed heat. LED glows amber when set to low, and red when set to high.

Oh and also I bought the Pioneer AVIC-S1 portable navigation unit last fall after going camping. My bro had a demo unit and I loved it so much that I ended up going out and buying one for myself.

And this is the product:

# Includes both seat bottom and backrest
# Requires no cutting of upholstery
# Hi / Lo settings
# Thermostatically controlled
# Relieves back and neck pain
# Reduces driving stress

The GPS is pretty good.. it has its ups and downs, like everything really.. you can't expect similar performance vs $1000 GPS unit, but it still gets me where I need to go. POI isn't that great (1.5 million --- some offer 6 million or more), but I didn't get it to find Tim Hortons.

I paid $370 US from eBay, no taxes or duty fees. This price is shipped ($325 + $45 shipping)

Yeah I couldn't turn that price down.. you can still get them @ that price easily on eBay. I had to play with the settings to get it to take me the route I wanted.. like say I go to Whitby.. it tells me to get off on Westney Rd and take the inside roads, where it is 50x faster to get off on Brock Road to get to my destination. It doesn't take into account the fact that some areas may have higher traffic or more lights, or congestion.. it simply calculates the FASTEST ROUTE or SHORTEST ROUTE, whatever you set it to. I had a bitch of a time before I set it to FASTEST ROUTE.. now things are pretty good. You can set to avoid toll routes (407) and so may other features.. really recommended @ that price. I wouldn't pay $700 for it tho, or whatever Best Buy is advertising it at.

Yea. Ebay is the way to go. Future Shop has one Garmin C330 or so, I believe its about $399 , looks decent although i'm not sure if it compares to yours. But anyways I appreciate the info.

The one I got is around $190 / seat.

They're the new generation seat warmers made of two carbon fiber pads that heat up (one for back, one for ass). The old generation is the criss cross wire mesh, which sucks. The carbon fiber style ensures evenly distributed heat, and much faster heat up times. Plus they wont burn your ass/back like the old gen style do.

Very happy with them!

No install pics, sorry.

They take the covers off your seats and install them on the foam underneath. They wire it up, then place the covers back on. There is no cutting of upholstery.
