another quote

"My price on the parts are as followed:

Calipers (rebuilt) $70 each($140), core charge so I need to give the old
ones back.
rotors $40 each( $80 set)
Pads $40 set
Total $260 + 15%+ $299 for all the parts.

As for Labour I am not sure i was thinking $150, but i want to make sure the
e- brale cables are working and i wanted to know how long the car has been
sitting.... rust tends to make thinks harder!!!!!! I also will need a hand
from you to bleed the brakes once everythin is installed!!
So you are looking at about $450 for everything i am not sure if that is the
best price you got but that is the cheapest I can do it for.... Thanks
Darren"

way to expensive i got quoted $200 with labour for my whole car (94 golf) and that was at VW Waterloo. Ended up doing it myslef for $100 bucks and the only reason it was close to 100 is I had to buy a $40 bolt

Well Mandy has her car at Point Zero having some automotive repair work done. And Authority is actually an automotive repair shop which I can't recall the name of.

Most of our sponsors are automotive repairs shops and are into the modifying scene on the side, with the except of a few.

why dont you just fix the seized caliper yourself ? if it takes 2hrs theirs something wrong... I've fixed many seized calipers in a few different cars i've owned and max its took me to get them off is 1hr if that!

why even pay $55 for 1hr labor to get someone else to do it ? save your money and put it into a diff area of the car.

I'm not sure whether napa sells VW parts but if they do I bet its alot cheaper then going to the dealer and they will even take your seized caliper as a core for a brand new one or what not which again makes things a bit cheaper.

If I had the automotive knowledge to do this job, I wouldn't be posting for it. Ya know? Anyways, Lennon said he would help me fix it, so I'm ok now. Mods please lock the thread.
