who has a hydraulic press?
so i'm doing a wheel bearing on my 240 and its the press in type, i was feeling ambitious so i got a slide hammer from part source and went at it.
i got it off the spindle and a couple pieces of the bearing out of the hub, but the rest of it is stuck in the hub. so i'm looking for a shop that i can take the hub and new wheel bearing to that can press the old one out and press the new one in for a decent price, then i can do the rest of the work. anyone have a recommendation? thanks. edit: in the k/w & cambridge area ------------------ Brendan: Bunch of 240s Some Opels And a Honda Last edited by Opel_Driver; 12-27-2006 at 08:41 PM. |

Any decent shop should have at least an arbour press that can do it.

Nine times out of ten the majority of people who talk shit down here don't even have any of the crap they talk about on their car. I drive an 8 year old domestic and barely give two shits about it. I beat the hell out of it and it begs for more, just like your girlfriend. Go ahead, cut me off. I dare ya. |

I have access to a press. If you can find anyone else ask me, I should have access to it in the first week of January at free will.
