Break In @ O.K. Tire Kitchener

On Wednesday, January 17th @ 8:15pm There was a break in at O.K. Tires new Kitchener location on 801 weber st. east.
The glass door at the front of the building was smashed and a mounted set of Toyo Garit KX 205/55r16's on a set of 16" american racing estrella's were stolen from the showroom.
the bolt pattern on these rims is 5x114.3/5x107.95

If you happen to hear about anyone recently "aquiring" these items and selling them etc. it might be worthwhile contacting the authorities.

I wonder what people must be thinking when they do shit like this... I mean, honestly.. people work hard for a living and then some asshat with no morals steals their shit. It boggles my mind to read about stuff like car break ins and shit like this. How do people live with themselves?

I guess it was an act of desperation perhaps. Its pretty strange how someone will risk their reputation and a couple years of their life to break into a shop and steal $1000 worth of tires and rims. Its even more unfortunate they would cause several hundred dollars of damage to someones property, especially on a main road at 8:15pm
but this kind of thing happens none the less.

That's annoying that someone would do something like that... but as said why 16's... and why those rims? People need to get lives and treat other people with respect! Hope they get caught!

I dunno man, I can totally see their side on this...the whole reason people steal is because its free...they aren't thinking about morals and shit..they get some free shit

We have the system, but didnt have it installed right away, This incident lit the fire under the owners ass a little, so thats taken care of. Next time someone decides to go "shopping" when we are closed they will provide us with some nice shots from a couple different angles.

The new system currently utilizes atleast a dozen motion sensors aswell as cctv. Not to mention the good ole' guard dog method

The Smash and grab thing would most definitely be a bad Idea for any would-be theives the next time around.
