Chroming?

Anyone know where to get things chromed? I'm not sure if Kuntz does non-comercial work, I've heard yes and no.

Depending on what it is... let me know, Kuntz is my biggest customer and I personally know many of the managers of different departments. I have some pull and have had things chromed before for me... I'm thinking about getting some things done, but I couldn't guarantee anything...

As far as cost goes for chroming it might be better to check out some places in Michigan or even New York state. When I used to work for PBDR we got a firetruck done with about 10,000 pieces that needed chroming. Everything from screws to engine parts to running boards, to gauge bezels to interior parts to hose fittings etc etc. We sent it to a place in Detroit and saved about $15,000US over any place we found in a similar distance in Ontario or Quebec. They even redid 5 pieces that were scratched in shipping for free. No questions asked.

I'd prefer to keep it local if its possible. Zing I'll let ya know when spring gets closer exactly what I need... I bet between you, myself, and my dad we could get a decent sized batch together. Thanks for the help.

Personally I would stay away from kuntz Electroplating.....have you looked at the inside of any chrysler chome rims lately

The chrome is peeling off, has to do with the electrolisis in the wheel bearing
