Went by the shop once, didn't look like they had too much for sport compacts, other then a bunch of Rice Items. Defeintly didn't see anything i would put on my car.

Shilling Performance
1615 Whistle Bare Rd. R2, Cambridge The guy runs it out of a shop behind his house. Deals more with muscle car stuff, but has a lot of sport compact stuff too. From my experience, he has great prices. |

Great prices and quick delivery... I have only bought a short throw shifter from him but have inquired on a couple of other parts. |

j/k homey... Yeah I'd put cardboard bodykits and ugly altezzas in that category. It comes down to the attitude of the driver too... I've seen him be quite blunt with some guys who walked in who looked obviously younger... with wallet chains and a homeboy accent and all... hah |

marken's pretty good. their prices are ok and the guy working the counter is pretty friendly and helpful. i honestly find the muscle car places a lot better in terms of friendliness and knowledge than the import places (bleh).

Perhaps a bit late... but like to give credit where it's due.
Never have had issues with Mark, stand up guy, great advice. Good pricing and usually one day turn around on ordered stuff. Been steered wrong from other shops. He's been getting my business. |

I've delt with them a long time ago when doing up "rice rockets" wasn't "cool" (back in 1998 when I had my MK3 Golf) and they were extremly rude to me, fingering me as someone that doesn't know jack about cars and buying blue lights for all to see. Waited 3 weeks to get lights in, and it was a "hassle" for them to talk to me or order me anything.
I won't go back to them, even if they change from "hotrod" to "ricerod". I'll never forget how badly I was treated there when they were on manitou. Again, this was in 1998, but still. Sounds like they change their image now that now everyone soups up their car. |
