I'm sure the fact that a CLOWN wearing an orange jump suit, stopping traffic on King street had something to do with it. That as well as the pounding music.
You guys simply asked for it. Some day you'll grow up. |

We were just asking him what we did wrong so that it doesn't happen again, and he was rude as hell and we still didn't find out what we did wrong. |

I did some research today and found out that the brick doesn't own that whole parking lot, I was the one that went to the cop last night and asked what the problem was and the cop simpley said they did not like out presence there, but do the research i found out that they were not allowed to kick us out of that parking lot if were in the right area of it, which i am still trying to figure out.

Like people have stated: all it takes is a few people to ruin it for everyone else. With that in mind, it was ruined already a while ago, so you can't expect to be taken seriously now.
Small private meets seem to be the way to go I guess. ------------------ --- Down Under --- |

but i dont know if that is the cause? Anyways greg find out some info about it. and get back to us. Dhesbra- I dont know what else u wanted the cops to do? there were approx 3 groups of people standing around the cops went up to two out of the 3 groups and passed on the info that they had recieved from the Brick owner/manger/whoever,perhaps you would of liked a 3rd cruiser to tell the others to leave aswell? Or would of prefered if the cops entered from each enterence ? how would u like that? ![]() anyways ... Greg find out more info ------------------ ![]() Sometimes we don't do things we want to do so others wont know we want to do them. |

Listen, I am not here to argue about anything. I just don't appreciate being told to leave without an explanation.
Everyone says that it "probably" or "might" have been the guy in the orange suit. But we don't know that for sure. Like when a cop pulls you over, he/she tells you why. They don't just say I just pulled you over because. I am just saying, they could have done it better. Other than that, it's all good, I don't want any problems. |

If the Brick didn't want us there, then that would have been the reason we were told to leave. They might not own the whole parking lot and it might not have been a problem before but last night they had a tent out by the road and it looked like they had some kind of big sale. That's probably what went wrong. No one was really being a heatbag with their car.
There just seems to be no tolerance for anything VM used to be anymore, not import cars, not car clubs, not meets, not modified cars...(even though on almost any given night you can find 20+ motorcycles in King and Ottawa Tim Horton's, and IMO those people look a lot sketchier [not to stereotype, but to the general public I would think this true] and are a lot noisier/disruptive meeting up than 10 or so cars) Trying to lay blame on a few individuals though, for being "heatbags" is useless. Anyone who loves their car for whatever reason has probably done something a little obnoxious to show it off (ie. pounding stereos, revving engines, speeding and even "street racing") So it's unfair to judge, unless you drive like you're 80. I think the cops will always be after the younger crowd for something or other. Maybe keep an eye out for somewhere out in the country to meet up, no one bothers you out there.... cuz there's no one else there! ------------------ 1999 Pontiac Sunfire Black Last edited by Chelli; 08-31-2006 at 08:17 PM. |

What about swithching from one location to another location every week, so it appears we only visit one location a month? Have two or three places we can meet in a month, or would that be too confusing? Just a thought, if we aren't at the Brick every week it won't seem like it's a regular thing.
