New Sleeper on board
Hi my name is Adam and i'm new here...
I have a little bit of a diffrent ride then anyone else As my username indicates i'm the driver of a sleeper car. It's a 1991 ford festiva with a 1.6L DOCH turbo swapped in from an 88 323 GTX... I'm also running apex full race suspension (20 way ajustible) from an A3 VW... FMS fiberglass hood,GTX Seats,2.5" exuast ,Centerforce clutch , Phantom Grip LSD and a dodge SRT intercooler up front... ect I just bought it off I guy I know in T.O. without the engine and I am installing mine ( I have 3 B6T engines in my shop ) Its a 13 sec car with the stock engine with no mods.....I'll be pushing 200 WHP once I install my hybrid turbo and Reich Racing ECU....I will also be running at 15Psi Here is a link to the old owners cardomain page for the car..... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/211326/3 From: Adam M |

I prefer the B6T over the BPT....because the parts do not have to be shipped from japan..... it's lighter ,it's far less of a pain to get the B6T in their ( uses stock 323 drivshafts ) no custom shafts $$$$$ and with a few simple mods i'm up to 200hp the BPT comes with 180hp stock.....only 1 guy to my knowlege has done a BPT swap in a festy and he has never show what times he is getting........
Also anything over 200whp in a festy is boardering on a full drag car.... I'm ok with my B6T getting 12sec timeslips and 40mpg......call me crazy ![]() |

Nice.. how does the wee beast handle? I know a stock GTX is real nose heavy, I can imagine this little thing would be worse.. but it looks like you've built it for drag anyway. I love the small car/mental motor combo!
My friend built something similar for the international ice racing in Sherbrooke this last winter, 323GTX drivetrain and motor in an Aspire.. we called it the Asfire.. was awesome watching him hand evo's and WRX's their asses.. he even managed to drive into the back of one of the andros trophy cars (tube frame, 4wd, 4ws, mid egine 350hp V6) off a start.. but only because buddy missed a gear ![]() Here's his lil mazda/ford monster: ![]() ------------------ Gary - 1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS coupe

As far as handeling goes....i'm not sure .... I will be putting the engine my B6T in in the next few weeks.....from what I can see it will be a rough ride....the suspension is not for the faint of heart Thanks for all the comments guys! |
