interesting... Google is becoming a big developer in terms of online software with their maps, Google Earth etc.. looks good, probably better then MSN.

You think so? Check out http://www.skype.com this google thing looks like a direct copy of Skype.

I also have a Vonage line here (www.vonage.ca), for $34.95 cdn/month we get unlimited calling in all of Ontario, and 500 minutes for the rest of north america, plus free call ID, call waiting, call answer, etc etc etc.

Skype lets you talk for free to anywhere in the world. I use it to talk to friends overseas all the time. Just used it last night actually. This Google Talk is not a direct copy of Skype, otherwise they would be sued. I want to try it to see what the big differences are. Should be very straight forward and simple.

I didn't mean direct as in carbon copy, I just meant that it does the exact same thing..

The problem with this is it's way too early in beta testing. It's cool, but yeah, similar to Skype. I like the simplicity of it, reminds me of Mac's. I'm sure once they work out all kinks and add some options it'll be great. But it's weird having MSN and Talk running @ the same time. We'll see I guess!
