I'm glad he's your last/past trainer- do up your body how YOU want, not someone's else's vision!
Do you have a fridge/microwave at work? If not, here's some good snack ideas you can keep in your knapsack/desk drawer - Chicken that's been cooked, but you've kept in the freezer overnight (It will thaw out within 4-5 hours so it's ready to eat by the time you are!) - Almonds and Cranberries (raw, home-made trail mix, in otherwords) (Pre-measure the portions, because at 7 calories PER ALMOND, it adds up fast!) - Bananas, apples, oranges, grapes, berries...any fruit, really - Pre-washed, pre-cut vegetables, such as broccoli, green beans, cauliflower, peppers - Canned tuna (you can buy pull-open lidded cans now...not recommended if you have coworkers close by, the stuff stinks!) - Whey powder + water - Protein bars (look at the nutrition labels, pick a GOOD one!) - Dry, whole-grain cereals (Cheerios? I dunno, I don't eat cereal myself!) - Whole wheat bread + peanut butter (keep a jar at work, PB doesn't need refrigeration) Orrr, buy a cooler and some ice packs, and a thermos for hot stuff, and you can basically bring anything that's on your diet. (Oatmeal, hot meals, soups, etc) With all the camping gear and technology these days, there is no limitation except laziness/poor planning Good luck with your goals! ![]() PS: Biggest tip: Pre-plan and pre-pack your meals the night before, so you're not rushed in the morning, and so that you don't just grab anything and "make do" |
