I read that on wikipedia yesterday. It's neat, but alot of issues

Problems:

- Over 20.5 light years away, human race won't survive the trip to explore it and learn more of it. Probes would take more then a lifetime to get there, we are going by what we can see thru a telescope, and what we are seeing is currently 20.5 years old too. (learn how light speed works if that statement seems odd).
- They say the tempature can sustain life, there is no proof. There is no proof of water either, just that the condition are good.
- The atmosphere is thin, tempatures at the equator are too hot and the poles are too cold, minimal ring of sustainability. IIRC the water goes to the night side of the planet and freeze, and it goes in the circle as the planet has a day. Something like that.

I must say tho, astronomy is super fun to read about!

How many of you would be willing to make the trip to an unknown destination to see wassup? That'd be pretty insane

Even if you had to be broken up into tiny particles of light just to achieve the speed of light? Mmm...no thanks, someone else can volunteer. Never gonna happen in our lifetime anyawys.

Seb I was reading up on it on Wiki too after I read the article. Lots of good info. I still find it extremely interesting despite all the negatives possibly associated with it. Makes you realise that not only are we a tiny speck of dust on this planet, but our planet is just a tiny speck of dust in the astrological sense.

We all think we're so important, haha! We should be so lucky.

Its funny how we can see it, but it would take thousands of years to get there...maybe in our grand-childrens time they will be able to explore it...

Why travel in a straight line when you can just cut across the galaxy. Now for setting up a secrure worm hole and figuring out how it all works....I should have been an astronomer cause everything is pretty much based on speculations and theories.
