need to cruise, where to go?

well its a nice day and i'm taking the datsun out come hell or high water this afternoon just to get some things out of my head. seeing as i'm still pretty new to the entire area and whatnot (other than work purposes that is) I need some suggestions where to go?

i used to love living in nova scotia as i'd just cruise the coast and stop at some look off points and just relax. *sigh* that's the one thing that i miss from the place that used to be home.

anyway just looking for somewhere peaceful to go to clear my mind

please post.

Thanks

i ended up just cruising down hwy 8 to copetown and into ancaster yesterday afternoon...
pretty good road for the old girl (stiff suspension) and traffic wasn't too bad... although people doing 80 piss me right off as i can't get into 5th with my gearing so i was going def in the car in 4th... ah well it was good and i was able to just relax and enjoy the day and the car

Good drive.

I was just going to suggest Niagara falls, Cayuga or Simcoe. They're all great drives.

Niagara was a little further than i wanted to go, just needed to burn a few hours round trip and get out.
We should set up a cruise to the beach or a park somewhere just to get out in the sun with the cars...
obviously keeping it to respectful drivers is the hard part but i think it'd be fun. get out there enjoy the weather, the cars and grab some icecream or coffee or whatever.

good times

It's really not hard at all. We did this last fall and had a good sized crew of responsible people. The key is making it invite-only. In our case, some of the guys that weren't invited got mad when they found out about it... but meh you can't keep everyone happy.
