Can't load VM at home!
hey guys this is directed at anyone who can help me figure out why I cant access VM website from my home...
I go on the road for work and I have no problem logging into VM, but at home the website wont load....any thoughts anyone, I haven't been banned to my knowledge...lol, any help on this would be appreciated! There are a few people who have this problem. I know Rough lives near you and he is also having this problem. I wonder if Steph also lives near you guys. Maybe there is something weird going on with that area to access VM. I had Rough try a few other sites that are on this server and he was unable to access any of them. To my knowledge there are about 20 people who are unable to access this site for one reason or another. Dont know why. Its nothing on our end here that we can see that is the problem.

both Rough and I live in the Preston area of Cambridge, nearest major intersection is Fountain and King St....if anyone can help out feel free!!

open up a command window(start->run cmd), and ping vitalmotion.net see if you get replies or not. If its losing packets, or taking a long time(over 100ms) then its something with your internet.

Steph lives in Waterloo, and suffered this problem for about three months before giving up and making a new account.
The problem didn't start until about a week after I was given mod-status, if that helps? (Probably not) |

actually it does help, rough was given mod status a short while ago, i dont know how but could that be related somehow?

I think I know what you guys are talking about....at work, I logon fine....
But at home, I get this: "In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist." Then I hit the back button, and hit "new posts" and then try to logon again and it works... |

for us the VM page wont load at all, message says cannot find website like its gone or somethin...

People that can't access it need to try a couple things...
If its showing up as page not found it IS NOT related to your account.. If it won't load the forums, try http:// vitalmotion.net if that won't load, then try pinging vitalmotion.net from a command prompt. If that doesn't work, try http:// 64.91.239.205 (thats just the IP of the server, bypasses any DNS routing issues with the domain name). If that still fails, from a command prompt type tracert vitalmotion.net and post up the results. If pinging the IP doesn't work, its likely going to fail the trace route at some point. Also try tracert 64.91.239.205 and see if that gives a different result. I'm going to guess its a DNS problem with the ISP, and the only way to fix that is to call them and let them know its happening. *edit* - stupid addon keeps changing the url...
