International GPS question
I'd like to pick up a TomTom Go 720, but they're friggin over $500 here with Australian/NZ maps preloaded.
So what I'm thinking is buying one from the US for half price and then somehow adding Aussie maps. But it's $150 for the Aussie maps directly from TomTom. My question is, this guy at work is also buying the 720, but here locally. He said if there is a way to get his maps off the unit and onto mine then I can have them no worries. When they say "preloaded", do they mean on the SD card? Is it possible for him to give me his maps? ------------------ --- Down Under --- Last edited by Slawek; 04-24-2008 at 01:37 AM. |
