I just thought I'd start a thread... in hopes of maybe an officer..that would want to give us some feed back on our club...
or some pointers....or just w/e.
just to communicate in some way.

hopefully we got some info/tips..

From an officer in Guelph(I spent an hour or two talking with him a couple weeks ago).

Lowering: If the tires don't rub on anything, and the frame doesn't rub on the ground(at driving ride height, so bagged cars are fine as long as they're not laying from on the street) then its perfectly fine. There is no law about wheel gap, or headlight height.

Exhaust: If its loud and annoying, expect a ticket. If it came with a silencer, put it in. This is mostly a reply to complaints from the general public.

Tint: The rule of thumb that officers are told to go by is that if they can't identify the sex of the driver, its too dark.

Nitrous: 100% legal to have in the car, as long as its securely mounted. It can be hooked up and armed, but you can't use it on the street. BUT, to prove you were spraying they have to get the MTO tailpipe sniffer in your exhaust within 5 seconds of when you sprayed. Because of that, its impossible to enforce.
